For a very contemporary home, we designed a custom fixture consisting of three suspended gold leafed disks with accent lights that bounce light off the disks to illuminate the stairs. LED step lights add a contrasting blue light to the golden color of the reflected light. The lighting recessed into the exterior soffit discreetly illuminates the living areas outside. Reflected light off low stonewalls lights the paths and preserves the dramatic views of the Golden Gate Bridge and San Francisco.
