This newly expanded house in Mill Valley, CA began as a dark and small cottage on an overgrown, steeply sloping site. The renovation doubled the size of the home by adding a structure that featured new lofty spaces with crisp, clean lines as a backdrop to the clients’ iconic furniture and art. Lighting was designed to accent and feature their collection and compliment the materials that were used throughout the house to lighten the formerly dark spaces.
